How This Story Sprouted
The manuscript first took shape during the early days of the pandemic lockdown, a small spark of light in an uncertain global time. Now it’s ready to go out into the world, offering hope, laughter, and connection to children everywhere.
What began as a simple idea — imagining a puppy who wants to help — slowly grew into a joyful, chaotic, heart-filled adventure. In those strange, quiet months, Ned’s playful spirit became a reminder that creativity can thrive even in difficult seasons. Nurturing this manuscript through revisions, feedback, and countless drafts has been a long journey, but one that has meant the world to me.

Ned keeps planting trees in all the wrong places, leaving chaos (and plenty of giggles) in the wake of his silly, surprising planting shenanigans.
With a bit of teamwork and help from his forest friends and young readers, Ned finally discovers the perfect spot to plant his tree. It’s playful, engaging, and filled with opportunities for kids to shout, guess, laugh, and learn along the way.
